The conflict in Darfur, western Sudan has caused some 400,000 deaths and has forced more than two and a half million people (about half the population of Darfur) to leave their homes and seek refuge in the outskirts of towns, villages, and refugee camps.

Oxfam has been working with refugee camps in Eastern Chad since 2004 with a goal to ensure clean water and sanitation in the refugee camps to improve public health. Funds raised so far from the sale of Tous H2O will support these vital projects in Chad to help improve sanitation and access to clean safe water.
